TeamGantt does not currently sync with any other Basecamp version. You must be an Account Holder or Advanced User in TeamGantt for this functionality to work properly. (See tips on moving and rescheduling multiple tasks here.) Any tasks you move into the newly synced TeamGantt project will now appear in Basecamp 2! The bottom project is the newly created blank project that was synced to TeamGantt from Basecamp 2.ģ) Drag the tasks and/or task groups from the original project and drop them into the newly created project below.The top project in the example below is the original TeamGantt project you want to sync to Basecamp 2.Here's what you'll see when you open both projects in TeamGantt at once. This will create a new blank project in TeamGantt.Ģ) Open both the original TeamGantt project you'd like to sync to Basecamp 2 and the newly created blank project in TeamGantt at the same time. If you already have a project in TeamGantt and want to sync it to Basecamp 2, simply follow these steps:ġ) Create a new blank project in Basecamp 2, and sync it to TeamGantt. Syncing an existing TeamGantt project to Basecamp 2 Syncing a new TeamGantt project to Basecamp 2 upon creationĭid you know you can create a new project in TeamGantt and sync it to Basecamp 2 all in one step? Here's how it works:ġ) Go to My Projects > New Project > Create a New Project.Ģ) Name your new project, and select your team’s account from the Basecamp2 drop-down. ( Note: Your team’s Basecamp information will look different than ours!)ģ) Click Create New Project, and you’re all set! (Consider it one less email you have to send!) As a result, all imported users will automatically receive an invitation email from TeamGantt. Note: Importing a user from Basecamp 2 to TeamGantt invites a user to TeamGantt. Select Import Project, and your Basecamp 2 project will sync all the appropriate users to TeamGantt.
This is also the place in TeamGantt where you can set project-level permissions for your users. (The default is always Can Edit Chart.) This can easily be done when you initially establish the sync.Īs part of the import, you'll want to make sure you're syncing your Basecamp project to the right TeamGantt account. Importing users from Basecamp 2 to TeamGanttįor the sync between TeamGantt and Basecamp 2 to work properly, all users from Basecamp 2 should be imported to TeamGantt. Currently, we support syncing To-dos and Calendar events, both of which will be synced to your TeamGantt project as tasks. Once access has been granted, go to: Account Settings > Integrations > Manage Basecamp Projects.Ĭhoose which Basecamp projects you'd like to integrate with TeamGantt, and select the items you want to sync. Once you're logged into Basecamp, you'll need to give TeamGantt permission to access your Basecamp 2 account: If you're not already logged into your Basecamp account, you'll be prompted to log in: To integrate your Basecamp 2 account with TeamGantt, log into TeamGantt, and go to: Account Settings > Integrations > Link your Basecamp projects to TeamGantt. ( Note: TeamGantt integrates with Basecamp 2, but does not integrate with Basecamp Classic, Basecamp 3, or other programs).
